Our story

Lok Qissa — folk tales woven into cloth. Handcrafted shawls and scarves from the valleys of Pakistan.

Our pieces are made by artisan families across Pakistan — spun, dyed, woven and embroidered by hand using techniques passed down through generations. We work directly with the makers so that more of what you pay reaches the hands that made your shawl.

Each piece is slightly different. Small irregularities are the signature of the hand, not flaws.
